About Programme

The market for global wealth management has grown rapidly, and wealth management has come to be one of the most important franchises of the financial services industry with significant manpower and resources being devoted to understanding the needs and priorities of single and multiple family offices, foundations and endowment funds. This programme is designed for wealth managers at private banks, boutique and large wealth management firms, portfolio management service providers, single and multiple family offices, and asset management companies seeking to deepen their expertise in private wealth management. The programme would provide theoretical and empirical perspective to understand issues involved in asset allocation and wealth management in the global context, with an emphasis on India. In particular, the programme will discuss the industry landscape (how different products and services have evolved), theories and evidence on asset allocation, issues in wealth preservation, behavioural issues that arise on both demand and supply side as well as the role of reputation and branding.

Pre-programme Preparation Guidelines

As part of the pre-programme preparation, participants are encouraged to build a basic familiarity with statistics and inference techniques, particularly regression analysis and its interpretation. This will help enhance the learning experience during the programme. The instructors will also share additional pre-read materials related to the content of the programme once the participant list is finalised.
