Programme Content
The Value Investing program familiarizes you with the principles and techniques of value investing through a combination of formal lectures and in-class valuation discussions.
Hands-On Tools and Exercises
Successful value investors draw on a wide range of concepts to guide their investment process. Throughout the program, participants build a practical toolkit and decision-making framework that can be applied immediately to personal investing or professional investment analysis. Participants explore search techniques, the steps involved in evaluating potential investments, methods for conducting rigorous research, and approaches for maintaining disciplined decision-making across market cycles.
Through a series of case studies and simulations, participants analyze prominent companies, including Apple and Nike, to identify sources of long-term value. They also examine an underperforming utility company to evaluate the factors behind its performance and assess its potential for recovery. The program concludes with a trading simulation that challenges participants to make investment decisions in response to breaking market news.
