About Programme

The programme will be a 12 month, 50 sessions intensive platform/ face to face, featuring a mix of lectures, case studies and workshops. It intends to sensitize participants to the transformation of women in organizations from managerial roles to leadership positions, and subsequently attempts to equip the participants with both theoretical and applied skills that would guide them to navigate their paths through the complex processes of managerial renovations. In the process, they would engage with a variety of executive dimensions that require leadership vision, self-exploration and understanding, skills, applications and articulations. How do women in the corporate become effective leaders is the broad question this program intends to respond to at various levels of managerial, administrable and political crossroads.

Women in management: An introduction to specific issues women face as they navigate their careers in organizations.

Global Perspectives on Gender

Women in Management

You will be able to appreciate how your status as a woman and a professional relates to the organization and society and the impact DEI initiatives could have on you.

You will gain insight what holds you back in negotiations and how to become more effective in the same. You will be able to overcome your anxieties associated with leading teams and realise your full range of potential.

At the end of this module, you will develop breadth in your managerial expertise. Whatever may be the function you are coming from, you will be able to understand how it relates to other domains of management and organization.

Through this module, you will add to your breadth of management understanding and become aware of the legal and human resources issues you need to be mindful of as you pursue your leadership work.

Working women in emerging markets

Through these sessions, you will transform your mental models of leadership and being professional to tap into the strengths you bring to the table as a woman You will learn how to reconfigure your limitations as advantages and thereby overcome the personal and professional challenges you have been facing.

Learn the techniques for continuous improvement via self-awareness, building influence and developing your team and subordinates. Learn to manage your biases.

Become adept at understanding the competitive advantage and the essence of strategic thinking and leadership.

Pedagogy

Pedagogy

The pedagogy will be highly interactive. It will leverage use of technology and will consist of, depending on the subject, a judicious blend of lectures, real life case studies, quizzes, and assignments.

Programme Audience

Working women professionals with at least 5 years of managerial experience in top companies
Participants demonstrating significant career achievements leadership responsibilities.
Women engaged in family business entrepreneurial activities.
Graduates (1023 or equivalent) in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate and 50% or more in post-graduation are also eligible.
