Silicon To Soc: Fundamentals Of Design And Verification

Indian Institute of Technology Bombay

Electrical Engineering

About Programme

The course provides an overview of digital circuit and system design concepts required for VLSI system on chip design and verification. A basic introduction to digital design is provided: combinational, sequential, processors, interfaces, hardware-software codesign, interfaces and memories. An introduction to hardware deion languages (Verilog) and the verilog simulation algorithm is also provided. This Joint Certificate Course is designed to build practical capability in semiconductor design, combining foundational concepts with real-world application. You will progress through a structured learning journey starting with digital design fundamentals, moving into RTL design and verification, and advancing towards system-level understanding of processors, memory, and SoC architectures.
