Program for Management Development (PMD)

IESE’s Program for Management Development (PMD) is a rigorous learning journey designed to boost your decision making and ability to lead, coordinate, manage and inspire others. You’ll grow as a leader and gain skills to excel in general management.

In this five-month journey, you’ll strengthen your grasp of business fundamentals, business strategy and execution, and learn how to unite others around common goals. Structured in three weekly residential modules and two online intermodules, the program is aimed at experienced senior managers, functional directors, recently appointed GMs, and entrepreneurs with 5 plus years of managerial experience, with the desire to step up and deliver greater impact to their organizations.

The PMD gathers high-caliber participants from an array of industries, functions and nationalities, offering novel insights to bolster your leadership and ability to navigate market complexity. Guided by IESE’s world-renowned faculty, it delves into artificial intelligence, sustainability, geopolitics and other pressing issues shaping global business today.

PMD: Your transition to senior leadership

The Program for Management Development (PMD) delivers cross-functional perspectives on different areas of management, building your knowledge and broadening your perspective so that you can take on the responsibilities of a senior management generalist.

The Program for Management Development combines three residential modules and two online modules. Residential modules last one week each. For maximum learning, participants will need to dedicate an average of 8 hours per week during the online modules for case preparation, implementation of personal projects, and virtual sessions.

The optional pre-program gives you the chance to refresh your business knowledge and use your self-evaluation techniques to prepare for the journey ahead.
