About Programme

From identifying market opportunities, to developing a business model, to learning how to launch and pitch your venture, the Oxford Entrepreneurship: Venture Creation Programme is designed to help you nurture the practical skills needed to become a successful entrepreneur in any business context.

Whether you’ve yet to identify a business opportunity, or are seeking to refine an existing idea, you'll explore the challenges and considerations faced during the venture creation process, and, in turn, understand how to share your entrepreneurial vision with external stakeholders.

This programme is delivered in partnership with GetSmarter , a 2U brand. When you enrol, you’ll be directed to their platform, which manages registration and course delivery on our behalf, as an official and trusted Oxford Saïd partner.

Programme Content

Orientation Module

The orientation module will prepare you for the rest of the programme and will:

familiarise you with the online campus
provide you with an overview of the programme handbook
introduce you to the programme team
cover some introductory course material including pre-reading materials, basic definitions and a glossary

This will stand you in good stead as you embark on the rest of your programme.
