In the union budget 2023-2024, the government has allocated more than USD 10 billion (INR 89000 crore) to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Having employed more than 5 million employees, the healthcare sector is one of the largest employers of India. However, training, in regular intervals, of the medical professionals/healthcare workers (including doctors, technicians, clinicians, nurses, etc.) is essential.
