The programme will be delivered through a blend of lectures and hands- on sessions. The lectures will provide a theoretical understanding of Generative AI, its landscape, and its implications. The hands-on sessions will allow participants to interact with Generative AI systems like ChatGPT, learn prompt engineering techniques, and build their own AI applications. This combination of theory and practice will ensure a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter.

The programme is designed for non-technical managers who are interested in understanding and applying Generative AI in their respective fields. A good command of the English language is desirable as the programme involves interacting with English-based AI systems and understanding complex AI concepts. No prior technical knowledge or experience in AI is required.

The programme is divided into several sessions, each focusing on a specific aspect of Generative AI:

Introduction to Generative AI: Understanding the basics of AI, distinguishing between Narrow and Generative AI, and exploring the landscape of Generative AI.

Talking to Generative AI Systems: Learning the concepts of tokenization, vectors, embeddings, and prompting. Understanding the role of metacognition advanced prompting techniques and their applications.

Application Prompting: Gaining hands-on experience in building AI applications using Prompt Chaining and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG).

Economic and Ethical Implications of AI: Discussing the alignment of AI with human values, the evolving landscape of AI regulation, and responsible AI frameworks.

Presentations: Participants will present their understanding and application of the learned concepts, providing an opportunity for peer learning and feedback.
