Digital twins provide a digital replica of the physical system, which can help organizations simulate real situation and their outcomes for better decision making. The importance of simulation for organizations originates from the inherent limitations of mathematical models to solve real life complex problems to optimality. Further, experimenting with actual system in real time may be costly as well as time consuming.
