Team Leadership and Behavior

Part One

Focuses on team leadership and behavior including approaches to a team success formula. Participants take part in simulated meeting exercises to help identify behavioral styles and illustrate common conflicts between them. A toolkit for developing and leading high performance teams will be the takeaway from the day.

Part Two

Team Roles and Communication

Part Two

Addresses different team roles, the importance of team communication, and how to achieve consensus during a team’s decision-making process. Participants are engaged in a series of interactive team decision-making exercises, receiving feedback from faculty and peers. An app will be employed to provide additional feedback on your team dynamics and will be a takeaway tool for your on-the-job application.

Part Three

The Power of Persuasion

Part Three

Centered on the power of persuasion. Learn how you and your team can leverage persuasion skills to influence stakeholders.

Part Four

Team Success Strategy

Part Four

Develop your personal team success strategy and create an action plan for immediate application upon your return to work with two dedicated workshops.

Part Four
Workshop 1: Create Your Team Success Strategy Participants will be asked to identify their key strengths and weaknesses to assess their knowledge of their own personal style in the context of their team leadership. They will reflect on their most rewarding and most challenging leadership experience to learn from their past decisions.
Part Four
Workshop 2: Create Your Plan for Your Internal MeetingParticipants will revisit their team members behavior style and assess two elements that they could contribute to the most: team roles and stage. Then, they will apply the tools learned in the program to effectively lead their internal team meeting back home. Topics covered in this section include:
