What you'll learn

Understand engineering drawing fundamentals including projection angles, types of views, and drawing standards used in industry
Work confidently in the CATIA CAD workspace using essential 2D sketching and editing tools
Build 3D models using solid operations such as Pad, Pocket, Shaft, Groove, Rib, Slot, and advanced multi-section solids
Create detailed engineering drawings with proper dimensioning, GD&T, tolerances, fits, and surface roughness symbols
Design and manage assemblies using both bottom-up and top-down approaches, including balloon generation and Bill of Materials
Run simulations using joints and perform clash detection and distance analysis on assembled components
Design sheet metal components using wall, bending, cutting, stamping, and transformation operations in CATIA
