About Programme

Applied Finance, Fintech and Digital Economics is a unique program offered by the Motilal Oswal Centre for Capital Markets designed to build financial fluency for the modern professional. It bridges the gap between economic theory and tech reality, teaching students to read a balance sheet, value a network effect, audit a cash-burning startup, and understand the algorithms that drive market liquidity. Tech graduates often lack financial context; finance graduates often lack tech intuition. This course makes students bilingual. They will graduate with the ability to discuss Beta and Blockchain with equal confidence. The course focuses on First Principles thinking. Students learn the logic of money where value is created, how risk is priced, and why platforms scale. The program also goes beyond theory and helps build tools. Participants leave with a portfolio of that they can demonstrate in job interviews.
